Pronoun is a word that stand instead of noun.
This means that pronoun represents nouns.A pronoun can represent a name of  person, place, things or an idea. The use of pronoun does not allow to rename the noun which is represented or replaced in the sentence.

PERSONAL PRONOUNS : VIWAKILISHI VYA NAFSI
Personal Pronouns ni viwakilishi vinavyowakilisha nafsi za watu.Viwakilishi hivi vipo katoka mifumo tofauti kulingana na uwepo wa watu, idadi na jinsia.
Kuna nafsi ya kwanza umoja na wingi ( "I : mimi "and "WE : sisi")
kuna nafsi ya pili umoja na wingi ("you : wewe")
kuna nafsi ya tatu umoja na wingi ("she,he,it" and "They")

Katika lugha ya kiingereza person pronouns zimegawanyika katika makundi saba ambayo ni I,WE,YOU,SHE,HE,IT and THEY.

1. I : MIMI
Hiki ni kiwakilishi cha nafsi ya kwanza umoja cha jina binafsi.Kiwakilishi hiki hutumika pale mtu         unapojizungumzia wewe mwenywe.Hii ndio sababu inaitwa nafsi ya kwanza umoja.

Mfano /Example
Mimi huwa naenda mjini kila siku
I go to town everyday

2. WE : SISI
Kiwakilishi hiki ni cha nafsi ya kwanza wingi.Hutumika pale mtu anapozungumzia jambo na yeye anakuwa  mmoja wa wahusika wote.Husimamia majina ya watu wengi, wanaweza kuwa wanawake au wnaume au wote kwa pamoja.

    Mfano /Example
     Mimi,John na Neema tunaenda kanisani
I,John and Neema are going to the church
We are going to the church.
     Sisi tunaenda kanisani.

3. YOU :WEWE /NINYI
Kiwakilishi hiki husimama badala ya jina moja au mengi, huwakilisha nafsi ya pili umoja na wingi,
na hutumika kwa jinsia zote.Pia hutumika pale mtu unapomzungumzia mtu mwingine ndio maana
     inaitwa nafsi ya pili.

       Mfano /Example
Wewe lazima ufanye kazi kwa bidii ili ufanikiwe
You must work hard in order to succeed

4. THEY : WALE /WAO.
Kiwakilishi hiki husimamia majina ya watu wengi kwa pamoja wanaweza kuwa wanaume au
    wanawake au wote kwa pamoja.

    Mfano / Example
     Jenny na John wanasoma vitabu
Jenny na John are reading books
     They are reading books

5. HE : YEYE
Kiwakilishi hiki husimamia jina la wanaume tu.Badala ya kutumia jina la mwanaume yule kiwakilishi
    chake hutumika kiwakiliska jina.
    Mfano / Example
John ni baba yangu , John huwa ni daktari
John is my father,John is a doctor.
He is my father,he is a doctor

6. SHE: YEYE
Hiki ni kiwakilishi cha nafsi ya tatu umoja, huwakilisha jina la mwanamke tu.Ni nafsi ya tatu umoja
kwa sababu tunamzungmzia mtu yule na yuko peke yake na jinsia ya kike.

Mfano / Example
Mariana ni mwalimu mzuri sana wa saikorojia.
Mariana is a good teacher of psychology.
She is a good teacher of psychology.

7. IT : Ni kiwakilishi kinasimamia majina ya vitu vyote isipokuwa majina ya watu.Lakini pia
          mtoto  mchanga hutumia kiwakilishi hiki.

          Mfano /Example
